Coinsonnet vs CoinPayments

CoinPayments offers broad coin coverage at low cost. Coinsonnet trades coin-count for an enterprise-grade stack: regulated custody, compliance, and same-day fiat.

Why switch

Compliance-first

KYT, sanctions screening, and travel-rule support are built into every payment.

Qualified custody

MPC custody with governance policies — not hot custodial wallets.

Same-day fiat

Direct fiat settlement to your bank, no partner hops.

Enterprise support

24/7 support with named contacts on enterprise plans.

FAQ

Switching questions, answered

CoinPayments supports more coins — why fewer here?

Deliberately. We support the assets with real payment volume and add networks by customer demand. Every supported asset gets full compliance screening and settlement support — not just a wallet.

Is Coinsonnet more expensive?

Headline rates start at 0.4% with no monthly fee. For most merchants the total cost ends up comparable or lower once settlement and FX costs are included.

How hard is it to move our checkout over?

Hosted checkout and payment links work without code. If you use plugins today, our solutions team maps the equivalent flow during onboarding.
